We supposed the area did get some rain when we arrived to allow us to post some wildlife pictures here. However, it was terribly dry in this area of the Kalahari at that time. Consequently, the animals were forced to move to other areas. We were tracking for two days without a single successful sighting - this is the unpredictable nature. We were also told the rain was very late in this year (2018) while there were also scarce rainfalls only in other areas.
