Caprivi, Namibia

Bagani Area

This Namibia location is a hidden wildlife paradise in the Caprivi where time stands still. We visited the Divava (Suclabo) Okavango Lodge which is nestled amongst majestic trees on the banks of the Okavango River, a few hundred meters from Popa Falls. Fondly referred to by the locals as Paradishi Ghomumbiru, (Little Paradise). This location offers a gorgeous view over the Okavango River with excellent opportunities for bird watching and is only in a 14km distance from the Mahango Game Reserve. This reserve is celebrated for its abundance of elephants, buffalos, sable and roan antelopes, bushbucks, reedbucks and the rare tsessebe.

Mudumu National Park - Eastern Caprivi

Cradled between the mysterious Okavango River to the west and the mighty Zambezi River to the east, the Lianshulu Lodge nestles beneath a canopy of shady jackalberry and mangosteen trees on the banks of the meandering Kwando River. In the heart of the Mudumu National Park with its sweltering Mopane woodlands, experience the allure of the fragile Kwando wetland ecosystem - a wild and forgotten land.
