Makgadikgadi Pan The Makgadikgadi Pans are situated halfway between Maun and Nata in northern Botswana and are home to the world’s second largest Zebra migration. We learned the Boteti river ceased flowing in 1992, however due to the exceptionally heavy rainfalls this season, it got fed by the waters drained from the Okavango and was completely flooded.
